Cable Stitch Bun/Ponytail Hat…

You’ll want to add this to your list of Christmas gift projects.  This will be a hit for sure!

This pattern is another one that I had actually created a while back (last year I believe) and it was a real popular one that I received a lot of positive feedback about.  The thing I like most about this pattern is the pretty textured look of the cable stitch as well as the warmth that a thick and textured stitch offers.  I made this for my daughter and she said it was one of the warmest ones yet!!  I will warn you that this pattern is actually a more intermediate/advanced pattern, however, it is quite repetitive.  So, I feel that once you get the hang of the repeating rows and you see the braid/cable look begin to take effect – it becomes a lot easier and it really does turn into a pattern you can relax and enjoy doing.  I love that it builds up quite fast as well so you can be very proud gifting this to a few people on your list this year as you’ll be able to knock ’em out pretty quick with how fast this stitch builds up.  I will advise clicking here to have a hat size chart open in another window on your browser so you can toggle back and forth if you require different head measurements for different ages you might be making this for.  If you do decide to give this pattern a try and feel up to sharing your results with me, I would love for you to post and tag me on Instagram (click here to follow me on ig)
