materials needed:
hook: 5.5mm
yarn: Bernat pipsqueak 2 rolls (for a size 0-3 months)

abbreviations used:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
sts = stitches
sc dec = single crochet decrease
sl st = slip stitch



pattern:

ch.20
– in 2nd ch from hook sc & sc in each ch all the way down the row
– turn work clockwise & sc in each ch again working back down the other side of the ch…. begin in that same ch just finished in (so you should have 2 sc in that 1 ch space)
– ch2, dc x2 in the 1st st
– dc x1 in the next 17sts & dc x2 in the last st (21 sts)
– dc x2 in the next st (working down the other side again)
– dc x1 in the following 18 sts
– dcx2 around the ch2 from the beginning of this round
– dc in the next 21 sts
– dc x2 in the next 2sts
– dc x1 in the next 20 sts & dc x2 in the following 2sts (49sts)
Next round:
– dc x1 in the first 20 sts
– dc x2 in the next 4 sts
– dc x1 in the next 19 sts
– dc x2 in the next 4 sts
(55 sts)
– dc x1 in the first 24sts
– dc x2 in the next 4 sts
– dc x1 in the next 23sts 

– dc x4 in the next 4 sts
(63 sts)
– dc x1 in each st all the way around and continue for 18 rounds
– begin next round with sc dec
– *sc in the next 5sts
– sc dec*
– *to* all the way around
– dc in each st around for 2 rounds
– close with sl st & fasten off

Straps:
– ch 5
– dc in 2nd ch from hook & in each ch down the row
– ch 2 & turn your work
– *dc in each st across, ch 2 & turn your work*
– repeat *to* for 10 rows & fasten off
Repeat again for other strap, attach with yarn needle
